Shipping policy

Order Processing & Dispatch

All orders are packed and shipped from Melbourne, Australia. We aim to dispatch orders within 2 business days on average, and within 4 business days at the latest after your order is placed. Orders are shipped promptly once prepared. During periods of high demand, product launches, or holidays, dispatch may take slightly longer.

Shipping Times

Shipping times vary depending on destination and the carrier used at checkout.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery timeframes are controlled by the shipping carrier. While we always ship orders promptly, 3D Film Parts is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather events, or other circumstances outside our control. Typically US and Europe receive their orders 6-11 business days from receiving the package at the local departure facility. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Updated 1 July 2026. What you pay at the border depends on where you are, and we cover more of it in some countries than others. The full plain English version is on our Shipping page.

United States and Canada. Your import duties and clearance fees are prepaid by 3D Film Parts before the parcel leaves Australia, and that cost is included in the shipping rate you pay at checkout. There is nothing further to pay on delivery.

European Union. Customs rules changed across all 27 member states on 1 July 2026. The EU removed the 150 euro duty-free threshold, so every commercial parcel is now assessed regardless of value. For EU orders you should expect to pay, before your parcel is released: import VAT at your country's standard rate, currently between 17% and 27% depending on where you are; a flat customs duty of 3 euros per product line, which the EU counts by tariff code and product description; and a handling fee charged by your own postal carrier for processing the clearance. Your carrier will contact you by SMS or email with the amount and a link to pay. These are government charges, set by your country and collected by your carrier, and we cannot waive them or include them in our prices.

United Kingdom and everywhere else. Import duties, taxes and handling fees are charged by your own country, are the responsibility of the recipient, and are collected before delivery. If you are unsure what applies where you are, your national postal service or customs authority publishes current rates.

Please give us a mobile number

Where duties are collected on arrival, your local postal carrier uses your phone number and email to reach you about the charge. If they cannot reach you, the parcel is held and then either returned to Australia or disposed of by the destination customs authority. Please make sure the number you enter at checkout is one you can be reached on.

Unclaimed and Refused Parcels

If customs charges are not paid, your parcel will be held and then either returned to us or disposed of by the destination customs authority. Return postage and any charges already incurred are not recoverable. If a returned parcel reaches us we will refund the value of the goods, less the original postage.

Please note that customs duties paid under the EU flat-rate system are not refunded by customs when goods are returned.

Accurate Declarations

We declare every parcel accurately, at the price you paid, with Australian country of origin and correct customs classifications, so parcels clear quickly instead of collecting storage and inspection fees. We cannot mark an order as a gift or declare a lower value.
