Introducing the Sony FX6 Flexible Sun Hood.
Offering exceptional wear and tear resistance, flexible TPU plastic, featuring rubber-like flexibility. This sun hood is designed from ground up for the FX6 monitor.
Its innovative snap-on fitment means there are no moving parts or extra hardware. Just a quick, secure attachment using the monitor’s existing hook points.
The 70mm long hood extrusion provides excellent glare reduction, ensuring clear visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. Weighing in at just 39 grams, it’s super lightweight and won’t add bulk to your setup. Best of all, it attaches or removes in under a few seconds, making it perfect for fast-paced shoots.
The Nature of TPU plastic is its unique ability to deform and re-form over an over again, meaning you can stuff it into a camera bag and not worry bout it damaging when folding over itself.
Added to the options here is a "Full Snoot" version which is identical to the original hood fitment dimensions without a cutout (as pictured).
Laser marking is available on this part - tick the box above and upload your artwork before you add it to your cart. There is nothing to email afterwards.
Laser marking has no colour. The laser burns into the surface of the part, so the mark is a single tone in the material itself rather than a printed graphic. Anything that depends on colour, shading or gradients will not carry across.
What marks well: solid, bold shapes. Clean line art, block graphics, logos with thick strokes, and text. Vector artwork (SVG, AI, EPS or a high quality PDF) is ideal, because it stays sharp at the size of the part.
What usually does not: photographs, screenshots and detailed JPEGs, along with very thin lines or very small text, which tend to close up when burned.
We check every file before it goes to the machine. If yours will not mark well we will email you before your order ships and work out an alternative, and we may not be able to accept artwork that is not suitable for laser marking.
Marking works best on black parts, and is also possible on the compatible ABS plastics offered on our site. If the Laser Marking option appears on a product, marking is possible on that item.
