A clean, loud, repeatable sync mark. Nothing else in the way.

SNAPMARK Clapper Sticks are built for the moment that actually matters on set: the clap. The body is carbon fibre reinforced ABS, stiff enough to give a sharp attack every time and light enough at 160 grams that it lives in the bottom of your bag without you noticing it. The colour bars and greyscale ramp are UV-cured resin bonded into the surface, not a laminate stuck on top.

Sticks on their own, because that is how they get used

Half the marks on a real day are not full board marks. Tail sticks. Sticks only, no board, because camera is already rolling and there is no time. A single clap at the top of the day to line up six cameras and two recorders. Sync for a drone, a crash cam, a car mount, a POV rig you cannot physically hold a slate in front of. Second unit. Plates. Stunts. Rehearsal.

If you are already logging scene, take, roll and lens in a camera report, the board is a heavier copy of information you have written down twice. The sticks are the part that cannot be replaced by an app.

Built for every condition

Carbon fibre reinforced ABS does not absorb water, so it cannot warp or swell the way timber does. The colour bars are UV-cured resin bonded into the surface, so there is no edge for water to get under and nothing to peel. Rain, dust, cold, heat, hose it down at the end of the day. It comes back the same.

Magnetic mounting, tuned by feel

Magnets are embedded along the underside face and a full-length tongue-and-groove channel runs the length of the stick, so you can mount them to a board on the days you need one. The magnets are tuned, not brutal. Strong enough to hold through a hard clap, light enough to pop off one-handed without bracing it against your knee. No hex key, no tools, nothing to lose on a wrap-out.

The channel takes standard acrylic slates, and they will mount to 3D Film Parts boards as those land.

Serviceable, not disposable

The hinge runs on three M5 socket cap bolts with nyloc lock nuts. If it ever loosens, you tighten it. If you ever need parts, we send you parts. This is a tool, not a throwaway.
