Teradek Pre-Marked Focus Ring Storage - For Front Box

Pre-marked rings only save you time if the right one is in your hand when the lens comes off. This holder gives 5 of your Teradek RT pre-marked rings a proper home on your front box, each in its own slot, right where you reach for them.

It is compatible with our Boom Box, and it also works with any standard super clamp, so it is not locked to our front box. The hardware is provided.

WHY IT'S WORTH HAVING AS AN AC

Teradek's lens mapping is built around these rings. One ring covers multiple lenses, so you are not recalibrating after every lens swap. That is the whole point, and you lose it the second you are digging through a pouch for the right ring while everyone waits on the lens change.

• Right ring, first go. All 5 sit in a row at the front box, so you can see what you have and grab it.
• Your marks stay clean. Each ring gets its own curved slot, so they are not knocking around against each other or everything else in the box.
• Nothing goes missing. A loose ring is easy to leave on a cart or on the floor at wrap. Here, an empty slot tells you one is missing before you leave.
• It stays where you work. It clamps up beside your gear instead of taking up room inside your front box.

WHAT IT HOLDS

5 Teradek RT pre-marked rings, focus or iris. Teradek makes 5 metric focus rings (0.25 m, 0.5 m, 1 m, 2 m and 3 m) and 6 imperial ones (10", 14", 20", 3'6", 6' and 10'), plus an iris ring. Keep the 5 you reach for most in here, and the one you are using lives on your controller. The photos show one way to fill it: the Iris, 10", 3'6", 6' and 10' rings.

The rings are not included. The white rings in the photos and renders are there to show the fit. You are buying the storage, not the rings.

HOW IT MOUNTS

• To a Boom Box: three M3 x 10 mm socket head screws. These are provided if you purchase this as an add-on for the Boom Box.
• To a super clamp: any standard super clamp, using the 2 x M5 x 20 mm bolts provided. They go into the two stainless steel M5 threaded inserts on the side. The super clamp is not included.

QUESTIONS

Does it hold the Teradek RT iris ring?
Yes. Each slot takes one RT pre-marked ring, focus or iris. The photos show the Iris ring in the first slot.

Does it take metric and imperial rings?
Yes. The slot is cut for the ring, not the markings, so metric and imperial rings both sit in it.

Are the rings included?
No. This is the storage only. The rings come from Teradek or a Teradek dealer.

Do I need a Boom Box?
No. It mounts to any standard super clamp with the 2 x M5 x 20 mm bolts provided. On a Boom Box it fixes on with three M3 x 10 mm socket head screws, provided when you buy it as a Boom Box add-on.

Will it work with my front box?
